Cassie (nickname for Cassandra) leaves the underworld temporarily. She goes up to the land of the living in response to Iphigenia’s invocation, who wants to know about the dark future of her brother, Orestes. Bearing the gift and curse of prophesy, Cassie’s speech associates ancient and modern myths with dream and memory.
