When man builds his "Pyramids", he seeks to build his tomb and his immortality at the same time. He seeks to accept the perishable and to believe in the imperishable part of him. The play deals with our personal pyramids, what we did in our lifetime, and what we want to accompany us after our deaths. Ten characters speak about their era to the audience, an era that disorients them and often leads them to acts of absolute and comic redemption. After all, the shape of the pyramid symbolizes a ladder to heaven, and most of us want, in the end, something to be left of us that will remind us of who we once were.
