What is the relationship between modern life and antiquity? Does the rhythm of modern man change when he is in monuments and ancient theaters? What would we save today in a time of danger? And… "How will they bury the Acropolis?"
The play "The Statues are Waiting" deals with the relationship of modern life with Greek antiquity starting from the concept of Hiding.
"This unfamiliar combination of documentary, humor, popular culture, science fiction in the area of the Ancient Theater is a bold and research artistic intervention, in the detection of our own relationship with the culture of our place."
